FOOD DRIVE WAS A GREAT SUCCESS

HILLSBORO FOOD PANTRY COMMUNITY FOOD DRIVE which was sponsored by: Twin City Area Optimist Club, Hillsboro Lions Club, Hillsboro Title Company, Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce, Hillsboro Community Civic Center, Southern Gateway Association of Realtors, Mapaville Fire Protection District, Hillsboro Fire Protection District provided the pantry with more than 3,000 food items.

Thank you to all who had a part in this event.

RECENT CHANGES

DUE TO THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC, THE HILLSBORO FOOD PANTRY WILL NOT BE RECERTIFYING PAPERWORK IN JUNE. Recertification will take place when the pantry can reopen to the public. Applications on file will be honored until that can time. Please watch for information on updating applications on our web site.

Please check News and Calendar of Events to keep informed on any changes to operation procedure during the coronavirus pandemic.

The pantry will continue its curbside pickup until further notice.

PLEASE, NO DONATIONS FOR YARD SALES AT THIS TIME. We are out of storage space. Please keep checking out website. We will post when we plan to resume holding sales. Thank you.

Collection Hours: Monday - Wednesday, 7:00 a.m. - noon, Thursday 7:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Distribution: Thursdays,*9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Hillsboro Food Pantry is:

To receive and distribute food and other items to families in need.
To provide information about sources that can assist those individuals in their efforts to become self-sufficient and solvent.
